The first prophecy is known as the Aquarian Prophecy, or the Aquarian Prophecy of Peace and Equality. This prophecy predicted the birth of the Aquarius of the New Era. A woman who would be born in the 21st Century as a Votary or Messenger of the Lotus Sutra. Instructions were left not to interfere with the Aquarius and her message of peace and equality, or the consequences would be severe.
