The Magick Carousel of Ole Paris | The Wandering Healer | 2026 AD
Sunset ~ Caspian Sea Region East
The young female healer known as "Cami" encounters a “watch” and two new arrivals from a magick carousel in Paris, France.
Cami spotted the children from over a mile away. She approached them as the boy was getting up and dusting himself off. The girl was smaller and seemed to have been injured after falling off her horse. She sat in the desert sand and dust until their carousel horses had flown away and the Wandering Healer approached with her camels.
The boy "Reign" introduced themselves as siblings who arrived by way of the Magick Carousel of Ole Paris. Reign's younger sibling, "Ruby," was younger,
but had gotten on the Carousel too.
Ruby was only 8 years old, compared to her older (and taller) brother Reign, who at 13 years of age, had managed to get off his carousel horse without much difficulty.
Now, a young Healer in turquoise approached them with camels, asking if they needed anything. Everything seemed to be packed away neatly on one camel or the other, but both children were tired, hungry and thirsty. Cami spent a few minutes digging a handful of small bottles out of a satchel on the camel's back and bent down to offer Ruby something she called "Desert Rose."
"Desert Rose" is a Lotus Elixir for the desert heat. If you can pay a little extra, these bottles have an added healing medicine known as the Pink Pearl."
Cami opened one so Ruby and Reign could take a whiff. Ruby thought she heard a lullaby playing off in the distance, so she drank one. Reign took a couple of coins out his own satchel to pay for them both and then drank his. The children immediately felt refreshed and thanked the healer for her desert elixirs. The next morning, the Healer was gone and the children headed off on foot towards a freshwater lake they could see in the distance. Ruby and Reign heard the cries of hundreds of shorebirds and they could see flocks of different bird species taking off and swooping in for landings in the reedy marshes of this small lake located just below the Aral Sea.
