Part I | Zoe | The Heart of the African Rainforest

A female clairvoyant named Zoe was gifted an emerald green cape instead of the traditional black, fabric that had been handed down in her clan and used for generations. The traditional black cloth was a wool sheared, spun and woven on a special loom. The black wool came from a tribe of wild bison and was designated specifically for this purpose.

Zoe was considered "unique" or "special" by her own clan because of her ability to see into past events. Zoe originally hailed from the Salamander Clan of Kazakhstan, 100 million years before this story was written. [1] All that remained of Zoe's salamander ancestry was a small spot on her forehead, called the Window's Peak. Zoe was a smart, pretty girl with a mermaid-like figure, long, wavy light brown hair and clear blue eyes. She was once told she had been treated for mermaidism when she was young, but afterward, whoever asked got a note that said, “Not a true mermaid.” It turned out that Zoe was at the top of the mermaid “Hourglass,” in the exact middle, whereas all the other mermaids (and mermen) were evenly spaced along the hourglass' perimeter.

The Merfolk “Hourglass” is actually a mountain, known in Buddhist cosmology as Mount Sumeru, [2] [3] or Mount Meru. [4] [5] This mountain, thought to reside at the center of the world, was also known to some as Treasure Mountain. However, its actual location was largely unknown until recent times, and was previously sought after using merfolk [6] in an attempt to locate the Treasure Mountain's geographic coordinates. This mountain, is believed to be located in the Pamir Mountains, northwest of India, in Central Asia.

Zoe's ancestry also included previous lifetimes on other planets (one of these was a life she spent on Indigua with Siddartha Gautama in his original incarnation), but she was also known for having three previous incarnations on Earth, starting with Gaia herself. [7]

For her 4th incarnation, “Zoe" [8] was born in 1970 AD in Palo Alto, California on planet Earth in the Milky Way Galaxy, noted for its elliptical shape and its proximity to the Andromeda Galaxy. According to current scientific research the Andromeda Galaxy was on schedule to collide with her own Milky Way Galaxy in approximately ten billion years. After that, their future remained uncertain. Interestingly enough, as the Black Holes at the center of the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galazies were pulling their galaxies on a collision course towards each other, the space and stars on their outer edges continued their outward expansion. Phew! At least there were more galaxies out there, in addition to her own! Zoe had learned that life was eternal and the universe was infinite.

Zoe's special emerald green cape was spun from the hemp plant (dyed hemp cloth). Hemp was a much stronger fiber than the bison's black wool. Plus, the entire hemp plant was used for a variety of other purposes. The hemp fabric for Zoe's cape had been specially dyed by a Gypsy fortune-teller. There was no other cape quite like it. At least not in Zoe's time. The Gypsy had gifted Zoe's emerald green hemp cape to her for her 16th birthday with specific instructions on how to save their planet if it came to that. So far, Zoe wasn't worried, after all their Sun wasn't due to explode for another 5 billion years and the two galaxies had another five billion years to go after that before they would collide with each other.

At the moment, Zoe was more concerned about saving the African Rainforest than anything else. The African Rainforest held the key to her planet's future, both for people and the planet. She decided that the threat her enemies presented could not deter her from her mission, and that before long, her magical emerald cape [9] would assist her with saving the all-important lungs of the Earth and find the key to lasting peace, a message hidden on a Rainforest Tree. Zoe hoped the oceans, mountains and the rest of the world's rivers wouldn't mind a little neglect until she had finished saving the African Rainforest.

Notes

[1] 2025 AD

[2] Mount Sumeru (also known as Mount Meru); https://www.nichirenlibrary.org/en/dic/Content/S/286. In ancient Indian cosmology, Mount Sumeru is the mountain that stands at the center of the world. Mount Sumeru is composed of gold, silver, emerald, and crystal, with four sides facing respectively north, south, east and west.

[3] The Sanskrit name Sumeru was tranaslated into Chinese as “Calm and Bright” and “Wonderful Bright.”

[4] Mount Meru ~ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Meru. is a sacred, five-peaked mountain present within HinduJain and Buddhist cosmologies, revered as the centre of all  physicalmetaphysical and spiritual universes. Several researchers identify Mount Meru or Sumeru with the Pamirs, northwest of Kashmir.

[6] The merfolk were hunted (as humans) and then transformed into merfolk using plutonium and ammonia. They were hunted beginning shortly after the birth of Christ up until around 1700 AD by Khafre and Lucifer. Khafre (who had been given the location of the Treasure Mountain after his circumcision) hunted merfolk as a pastime while waiting for his 21st Century prophecy. Lucifer joined Khafre in an attempt to find the coordinates of the Treasure Mountain, since Khafre never bothered to tell him that he already knew the mountain's location. According to legend, the details of the merfolks' birth gave the coordinates of Mount Sumeru (Mount Meru), or the Treasure Mountain.

[7] Gaia (d. 1100 BC), Nut (d. 536 BC), Abeline (d. 1700 AD)

[8] “Zoe” (“Zoe A. Madison”) is the author's (Jennifer L Myers) pseudonym.

[9] Zoe's cape is symbolic as an Emerald Vampire and a victim of other people's jealousy; in the past, individuals who exhibited traits of jealousy were often treated with Emerald. The cape represents her (the author's) storytelling abilities combined with the assistance she received during the period of its writing, along with the author's actual career intent to save the African Rainforest.
