The Turquoise Macaw ~ "Aquene" shakes off her feathers at the Rainforest Spring

Located in the Democratic Republic of Congo's Salonga National Park, the male and female Turquoise Macaw (pair) are known as "Aqua" and "Aquene." The turquoise macaws along with the black jaguars, are protective guardians of this warm, freshwater, uranium infused, rainforest spring.
